This is a 14 H pony. What do you think?

This is a 14 H pony. What do you think? He appears to be slightly downhill in build and kinda "soft" (out of shape). Legs seem clean, but I'd want other pictures to be sure. Pleasant expression, slightly thick through the throatlatch, but that could be from the way his head is turned towards the camera. Not the easiest picture to critique.

Exactly. the pony is on craigslist. The horse is standing on a side/down hill. His head is down and his neck stretched oddly. It looks like his head is too big for his body in the picture, but that may be because of the weird optics of the picture.

Feel free to post information with these photos for critique. I am not sure what you mean by this. Yes, it was kind of a "trick" question about photography. All I can say is you got it right. People try to sell horses and offer the worst possible pictures. On the other hand, the skinny prospect I tried to buy had pictures from a distance to hide the skinny state of the horse. My point is there needs to be a standard of conformation pictures so buyers can accurately see what the offered horse really looks like.

People have a hard time understanding perspective when it comes to conformation shots. By no stretch am I a pro with a camera, but I have taken some decent shots and wouldn't you know it, those horses didn't take long to sell.
